PTFE Insulated Wire has thermal stability from – 65 °C to +200 °C. It is smaller in size, light in weight, has highest volume and surface resistively, lowest dielectric constant & dissipation factor, stress-cracking, is soldering iron resistant, has good mechanical strength & flex-life, is fire proof resistant to ultra-violet radiation & therefore apt for high density wiring.
There is even a special Grade PTFE insulation with improved CORONA resistance and available in black to pink and natural opaque colors.
They can be used in communication equipments, aerospace, naval, marine, meteorological, etc and its products are inspected according to the JSS-51034 standards.
